Collect hundreds of thousands of signatures supporting a full marijuana law such as what Massachusetts just past, organize and involve the newspapers statewide. I am a 78-year-old USMC veteran with stage 4 metastatic cancer. I expect to live a year or two henceforth. 86% of Iowans favor medical marijuana. But a majority plus of the Iowa legislative house have passed the worst catch 22 alleged marijuana bill in the country and are totally insensitive and the lack the compassion of the rest of Iowans. Indeed they are proven anti Iowans. This suggests that the Iowa house is responding to their own 30 pieces of silver sources rather than to the compassionate needs of of doctors, Iowans, and dying cancer patients. The relationship between the house and the pharmaceutical industry should be investigated. The pharmaceutical industry is mentioned and touted several times in the meager non marijuana law they have passed which will not assist me whatsoever. For me marijuana offers an antidepressant, appetite stimulant, nausea control and avoidance of opioids for pain. These are important quality-of-life issues for me even though I remain quite sick and debilitated. 28 states have now passed good medical marijuana bills or better. unfortunately, the Iowa house has has the worst fake marijuana bill in the nation. A pox on the Iowa legislative house! Please help drain this self aggrandizing. swamp. You can do this by having one of your top reporters investigate the nexus between legislative House representatives and pharmaceutical donations to them, publish this. And God forbid, you might get creative enough to initiate a legislative referendum law by collecting a million votes from the remaining 86% of true compassionate Iowans demanding this. Perhaps then and only then can we ever inherit a modern medical marijuana law that benefits everyone equally, such as the modern recently passed Massachusetts marijuana law. The below link will teach you how to pass the much-needed referendum law law after you collect 1 million signatures which should move or dissolve the entire legislature control on this issue. Please do something meaningful on these issues. https://www.legis.iowa.gov/docs/publ ications/LG/9500.pdf#page3 Anthony Barberio 905 54 th street Wdm, IA 50266 Benb1938@gmail.com"

During this time in my life, I used my deals and the life style as subject matter for drawings and paintings. At the time, I felt I should capture this period in time in my artwork. Back then, pot laws made such activity risky not to mention other dangers of dealing marijuana. Now, over 30 years later, I would like to share my work with others. These days pot is more widely used for recreation and the more accepted form, medicinal treatment. It's now that perhaps people should reflect on the times that brought pot from being used in the shadows and dealings in secret into the light of day and helping many with many afflictions. I am writing to ask for help with this. I'd like to sell these captured moments in time in an art gallery. Here is a link to my work - www.blues13fineart.com - where there is a more complete biography of my two worlds; selling marijuana and capturing that life in my art.

"I'm very happy Gov Haslam is making CBD legal for seizures and epilepsy. But for the life of me I can't understand why Hemp CBD hasn't been legalized before now for all medical conditions that it helps. I watched a program just afew days ago on the history of marijuana. You can look it up for yourself, but pretty much making marijuana illegal was just the next bandwagon after prohibition. Marijuana was made to look like Satan himself when most people knew it was basically harmless. Please read the history for yourself, it's pretty enlightening. What I want to say is this, we know extracting CBD from Hemp is purer and as far as I know, there's nothing in Hemp to get you high. You can tell me if I'm wrong. I have chronic, bad pain in my lower back, most of the time going to my lower leg and foot. I also have other conditions CBD will help.Common sense will tell you natural medicine God made will hhelp you millions times more than the synthetic stuff they cram down our throats now. It will kill you. I take so many meds that I am certain CBD will fix. I want the doctors and the politicians to wake up and quit making this a matter of money and kickbacks. It's all ridiculous. I hope my opinions will help you with your mighty cause and we will see CBD legalized very, very soon for all diseases.

" I am a Marine. I was medically discharged out of the Corps after I was diagnosed for Extream PTSD. I just had my house raided and they took my 4 plants and charged me with an extra 52 grams. I use pot to be able to function and not to have to take all those medications that if I miss a dosage i could go crazy again. pot has been a blessing to me and I cant even afford all these charges. I think it is wrong that this happens to vets exspecially using it for medicine after we sacrifice our lives in Iraq like me. is there anyone to help us. and help me for my court date. email - email@example.com
How do i get a hold off someone to Try and get some type of Legalization of MMJ in this state. Georgia is hard on everything out here. Even with doctors I had talked to ( about being open with them about not using the drugs they were giving me and i would just smoke some MJ instead) said that it is the one thing that was keeping me calm, not being depressed and what has helped me with dealing with PTSD from Iraq, to actually be able to work and maintain the life I have been able to maintain. But with the doctors rules out here they said I cant use MJ and now I am facing 2 feloney charges.
Isn't there a VET group that helps fight for our rights. Many vets that have ptsd have told me to try smoke a bowl. All I did was take a hit or two and I was able to relax and function and stay calm around groups of people. We that have served our country should have some type of card and be allowed to be able to use MMJ in any state. I wish the people of our country would just think of all the sacrifices we who have served this great country that we have and protected it and when we come back its hard to be around people, and or crowded areas. now I cant use any type of MJ because I am now facing charges.
please someone help and give me some advise - firstname.lastname@example.org "

Plenty of studies have been done on rats that prove their ability to forget stressful situations. http://www.vawatchdog.org/09/nf09/nfnov09/nf110509-7.htm
All I know is it sure does help me cope with life on a day to day basis.
Has the issue been brought up defining "pain" in connection with approval for the card? Sometimes the emotional pain of PTSD is far more damaging then the physical pain that is allowed for legal use of the natural substance. I would take physical pain over the nightmares and social anxiety any day! "
