Day of Public Medicine Distribution and Open House

Happened Saturday, January, 2005

High noon to 4:20 - in Salem.

MERCY could not secure a place sufficient to our patients needs this time in Eugene.   We will try again, in the meantime we will continue working with our Eugene contacts to try and make it happen there.  See > EUG.net

The PaRTe (Patient Resource Team) has therefore decided to have the event in Salem where we can better control the environment and move the date to a week-end to better accomdate patients schedules.

The plan was to get some interviews and footage to broadcast on ECTV that week.   Click here for details on the CLF Meets / ECTV Shoots.   This may not happen this time.

Suggestions appreciated ...

RSVP by email to mercy_salem@hotmail.com or snail mail to:

To help OMM Patients, Mercy Center will be hosting a special event featuring food, green butter, baked goods, music, news, information, activism, like-minded company and cannabis.

Comradery, Consumption, Cannabis - Sat., 4/16/2005, starting at High Noon and going (officially) til 4:20pm.

One of our objectives is to make space available for all interested parties to come and display their information about the resources and services available in the medical cannabis community.   To set up a scenario where people and groups gather and share news, information and, yes, green medicine.

Opening remarks Where: Mercy Center

Here are some flyers for the event in WORD and PDF format.   PLEASE print out and use to raise awareness.  Distribute far and wide!

We need to stand by our right to smoke natural cannabis and include more of our War Veterans. Lets do what we have to do to get PTSD on the list of qualifying conditions.

Sorry to run on. I just cant express how thankful I am to be able to enjoy the great medical marijuana our state produces.

Peace and Pot,

I am willing to donate it to the cause and am hoping someone can help out with this. Any info thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome. I know the caregivers as described above must be around, but from what I have seen are probably rather quiet. I have had to do w/o meds for lack of this support and information. Others I met at OMMP ORNML meeting at Tabor Pub told they also were faced with these same conditions. From subjecgtive onservation, we seem to be peolpe who would not spend time in bars or partying much; folks who have family and homes to care for, jobs and course work to fulfill. Can you affirm via website that the Sweet Home meeting will occur March 5th? Caregivers with a track records as above seeking simliar patients, please open a dialogue with me at tboze@comcast.net "

I am in need of information about Oregon's Medical Marijuana policies, specifically, if my California Doctor's recommendation can be used in Oregon, and if not, a doctor referal in the area. I plan to be an active member in the medical marijuana community and partake in activist type activities. I can provide refrences from Los Angeles (my Doctor) and from Lake Tahoe area (numerous medical marijuana patients) who can speak to both my medical marijuana need and speak of my general character. I look forward to meeting everyone on May 7th and i appreciate any information your group can provide. thank you for your time.
