Legislators have been presented with the most recent known versions of -

- Opt-in (which is LC 1905),

- I-74,

- Sensible Oregon,

- Oregon Marijuana Reconciliation Act,

- OCTA,

- SSG draft, and

- PACA.

They -

- are intent on melding the best from all the above for one omnibus bill.

- will not push for Legalization this session but are open to exploring language for a referral in 2014.

- are okay with us pushing language and legislation to improve OMMA.

None of it will be pre-session filed except PTSD. All cannbis related bills in the Senate will go to Judiciary where Sen. Prozanski will push or kill. If a bill makes it out of the house and into the Senate, same thing.

Our Lobbyists also met with Sen. Boquist today and he will be dropping the stand-alone PTSD bill (LC 1749) next week, maybe end of this week. They presented Sen. Boquist with Michael Krawitzs' letter from VA Admin. and testimony from New Mexico's hearing on adding PTSD which includes a lot of bibliographies.

So what we're asking everyone to do is:

1. Call your Representatives and Senators and get them to sign on as co-sponsors to the PTSD bill (LC1749). It does not matter if they are D's or R's. We need all the votes and co-sponsors we can get. Then get back to us with names so we can get the bill and supporting documentation to them to enable them to sign on as co-sponsors and otherwise co-ordiante with our Lobbyist resources. Don't confuse them with anything else, right now. Concentrate on getting them to sign on to PTSD, save contact info for later. We should talk amongst ourselves about Sunsetting the Fee Hike, which will HAVE to be done Legislatively, before June, 2013.

2. Please give us a heads up if you are going to be in Salem and who you might be meeting with. This is NOT an attempt to control but to coordinate Lobby and Watchdog efforts. We are already in Salem and just offer ourselves as conduit - we'll be happy to carry your water, documents or testimony via email to thier mailboxes or drop off with their admin asst. We don't want to step on any toes, duplicate any work or blind-side any efforts that may undermine the overall objectives.
